Nothing to See Here

17 Feb

Sigh. Nothing to see today. As threatened, I spent the day working on end weaving. Boring and desperately dull to quote a Monty Python sketch. But it’s my own fault for not doing it sooner. I still have some more to do but at least I got a start on it.

The grannies are almost finished. I have two that need the final black border, two that need the final red and black borders. I have the final ten centers made ready for the final rounds. Then comes the jacket construction. I view it with a bit of trepidation and excitement as well. The piecing together looks like a piece o’ cake, but I think the tricky part will be attaching the sleeves and hood. As I am wont to say: we shall see…

I suppose I could have shown the little pile of snipped yarns from weaving. :O
