Spring Dahlia Dishcloth

Spring Dahlia DishclothToday’s square: Spring Dahlia Dishcloth
Size: 7 inch
Pattern By: Lily company
Hook: H
Yarn: Mystery COTTON, in variegated blue, periwinkle, yellow.
Pattern from: Ravelry

Notes: I’m not prone to making dishcloths. I don’t think I do my best work in cotton. Coupled with lots of TRs and it came out so-so. The pattern calls for the last round to have 3TRs and an SC worked in the top of each cluster, leaving that perfectly good CH3 space unused. So I did the TRs into the chain space. It makes my petals look more like sails, but I don’t mind it. It bugs me a little that the beginning cluster has four stitches when all the others have 3, but I guess it couldn’t be helped. I plan to use this as a coaster rather than a dish cloth.
