Supreme Inconvenience

21 Apr

Well, you know, you come to depend on computers to such an extent that when they fail on you, you become a little lost. Or maybe that’s just me. Anyway, my beloved Mac finally gave up the ghost after our annoying power company had a brownout unexpectedly. So I’m having to scrape together enough to get it fixed or get a new one. I’ll possibly be back by the weekend but who knows.

The upside is, with the distraction of the computer, I’ve gotten even more crochet done! I have finished 60 of the 88 squares I need for the cardigan I’m making. That’s a good thing. The bad thing is, every time I sit down at my work table my hand automatically goes to the mouse to try and wake the computer. I finally ended up having to hide the darned thing from myself…

Anyway, see you guys soon. I hope…

I’d need therapy if my computer died on me. You have my condolences.

Glad to know it’s the computer that’s under the weather and not you! I came here looking for you since it looks like you hadn’t been on Ravelry for a week! Hurry back!

Thanks! If you look for me on Ravelry, I usually try to mention if I’ll be gone in the BAMCAL group. Just click on my posts in my profile and the last one or so should be the one. Having said that, let’s fervently hope this NEVER happens to me again… :O
